Magnetic Wireless Power Banks in Full-Grain Leather

A magnetic wireless power bank, often called a MagSafe power bank or MagSafe battery pack, snaps onto the back of your phone and charges it with no cable. NYTSTND's version charges at up to 25W over Qi2.2, the latest version of the magnetic standard behind Apple MagSafe, from a 10,000mAh semi-solid battery. Then we wrapped it in full-grain leather, so it looks as premium as the phone it's charging. Choose Black, White or Saddle.

A MagSafe power bank with Qi2.2 charging at up to 25W

Qi2.2 uses the same magnetic ring as MagSafe, so the power bank lines up with your phone's charging coil the moment it attaches. Aligned coils charge faster and waste less energy as heat than a flat pad you have to position by hand. iPhone 16 and newer models draw the full 25W, and earlier MagSafe iPhones still snap on and charge at their own top wireless speed. Luxury full-grain leather, not plastic

Most magnetic power banks are plastic. Ours is finished in full-grain leather, the highest grade of leather: the top layer of the hide with its natural grain intact, so it's tougher and longer-lasting than corrected or bonded leather. It feels warm in your hand, softens with use and develops a patina over time, which makes it a power bank that looks better the longer you carry it. It's the same leather we use on our leather charging stations and leather MagSafe wallets, and it makes a standout luxury tech gift.

A semi-solid battery that runs cooler

Most power banks use a liquid electrolyte. Ours uses a semi-solid one that resists leaks, handles heat better and degrades more slowly. Thermal insulation keeps the case comfortable against your phone during long charges, and Smart Power Protection steps output down to 7.5W wireless and 5V/3A wired as the battery nears empty to protect the cells. Learn how semi-solid battery technology works.

Built-in stand and two-way USB-C

The built-in stand props your phone up hands-free for video calls, directions or a show on a flight. The USB-C port works both ways, recharging the power bank and charging a phone, earbuds or tablet by cable at up to 30W, with a USB-A port alongside. A USB-C to USB-C cable comes in the box. At 4 × 2¾ × ½ inches and 8 oz, it slips easily into a pocket, work bag or carry-on.

Which phones work with a MagSafe power bank?

The magnets line up with every MagSafe iPhone, from iPhone 12 through iPhone 17, iPhone Air and iPhone 18 Pro. Android phones with built-in Qi2 magnets attach the same way. Samsung Galaxy and other Qi phones charge wirelessly too, and need a magnetic case for the snap-on hold. Shopping for a specific phone? Frequently asked questions

What is a magnetic wireless power bank?
It's a portable battery that attaches to the back of your phone with magnets and charges it wirelessly, without a cable. NYTSTND magnetic power banks use Qi2.2, the latest version of the magnetic charging standard behind MagSafe, so they line up with your phone's charging coil automatically.
Is this a MagSafe power bank?
Yes, it works as a MagSafe power bank. Qi2 is built on the magnetic profile Apple developed for MagSafe, so it snaps onto any MagSafe iPhone just like a MagSafe battery pack and charges it wirelessly. Because Qi2.2 is an open standard, it also works with Qi2 Android phones.
What are the benefits of a magnetic wireless power bank?
No cable to carry or untangle. It snaps onto the back of your phone and charges it while you keep using it, so you can text, call or navigate without being tethered to an outlet. The magnets also hold it in the right spot, so it charges every time without fiddling, and the whole thing slips into a pocket with your phone.
How fast does this MagSafe power bank charge an iPhone?
Up to 25W wirelessly on iPhone 16 and newer. Earlier MagSafe models, iPhone 12 through iPhone 15, charge at their own maximum wireless speed. By cable, the USB-C port delivers up to 30W.
Why does Qi2.2 charging matter?
Qi2.2 is the newest magnetic wireless charging standard. It unlocks the full 25W on iPhone 16 and newer, up from 15W on earlier Qi2 power banks. Its magnets line up the charging coils automatically, which means faster charging and less energy lost as heat, and the same power bank works across MagSafe iPhones and Qi2 Android phones.
What are the benefits of a semi-solid battery?
A semi-solid electrolyte resists leaks and handles heat better than the liquid electrolyte in most power banks, so it stays cooler against your phone. It also degrades more slowly, which means the battery holds its capacity for longer. Smart Power Protection adds another layer by lowering output as the battery nears empty to protect the cells.
How many phone charges do I get from 10,000mAh?
Expect roughly one to two full charges for most phones. The exact number depends on your phone's battery size and how you charge it. Charging by USB-C cable is more efficient than wireless, so you'll get a little more out of each charge that way.
Why is the built-in stand useful?
It turns the power bank into a hands-free stand while it charges. Prop your phone up for a video call, a recipe, turn-by-turn directions or a movie on a flight, without holding it or hunting for something to lean it against.
What makes it different from a regular plastic power bank?
Outside, it's finished in genuine full-grain leather, the highest grade of leather and the same leather used on our charging stations and MagSafe wallets, so it looks premium and ages well instead of scuffing. Inside, a 10,000mAh semi-solid battery runs cooler and lasts longer than a standard cell, and it adds a built-in stand and a two-way USB-C port.
Can I bring a magnetic power bank on a plane?
Yes, in your carry-on. A 10,000mAh battery is roughly 37Wh, well under the FAA's 100Wh carry-on limit. Power banks aren't allowed in checked bags, and some airlines also limit using them during the flight, so check your carrier's rules before you fly.
Does it work with Android and Samsung phones?
Yes. Any Qi-compatible phone can charge from it. Android phones with built-in Qi2 magnets snap on directly, while Samsung Galaxy and other Qi phones without magnets need a magnetic case to hold it in place. For more options, see our Android wireless chargers.
Will it work through my phone case?
Yes, with a MagSafe-compatible case. Cases with a built-in magnetic ring keep the strong hold and full charging speed. Thick or non-magnetic cases weaken the connection and can slow or stop wireless charging.
